Welcome to CDMO.org, home of the College Democrats of Missouri!

We are very excited about the 2006-2007 academic year and have been preparing for the November 7th Midterm elections all summer. There are two very exciting statewide races in Missouri this year; Claire McCaskill for Senate and Susan Montee for State Auditor.

Unfortunately, the state of Missouri has endured a lot of obstacles since 2004. The Republican controlled legislature has made draconian cuts to the state Medicaid program, removing over 100,000 low-income adults and children. They hastily chose to remove birth control funding from low-income women's clinics and have instituted a new Voter ID law that will disenfranchise thousands of students, elders, and the disabled. Young people in Missouri are tired of the invasive, irresponsible, and downright cruel policies from the Republicans.
